Personal & Group Wilderness Retreats

Our personal & group wilderness retreats run all year round. The retreats are offered in our self-contained cabin that comes with a cosy lounge, fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms and shower-room. Both individual and groups of up to 8 can be accommodated. You'll have exclusive use of the cabin's facilities and endless wilderness on your doorstep - and beyond.

You'll be collected from Ostersund when you arrive and given time to gather supplies before being brought up to the mountain paradise. While we are on hand for anything you may need, we'll respect your privacy and time for rest and retreat from the busy-ness of the world.

You'll have time to simply be.

During the summer months you may take time to sit in silence and walk within the magical forest. During the winter months you can drink in the exquisite light and silent stillness that the snowy landscape offers.

Our location here in the sublimely beautiful Ansättfjällen - known as Sweden's Alaska - comes with 107 acres of our own forest. A beautiful stream runs through our property and offers many spots for reflective sitting along her banks and some small waterfalls. Our property is connected to the extensive wilderness via many walkable forestry tracks.

The retreat is for everyone. You may just feel you need some time-out from the frenetic pace of the world. Or you may have a writing/art project you wish to focus on. You may be in need of some deep reflective time after a particularly challenging period. You may want an opportunity to immerse yourself in deep relationship with the natural world. You may just simply want to be in solitude.

If your retreat stay is longer than one week we will arrange to collect further grocery supplies on your behalf.
After your time here, we will take you back to Ostersund for connecting travel.
